We have the honor to inform you that the company INTERkrąż Spółka z o.o. delivers rollers for belt conveyors for the Grand Paris Express project.

The Grand Paris Express is currently the largest extension project of the metro in the Europe. It includes the delineation of four new lines and additional routes with a total length of around 200 km along with 64 new metro stations. Ultimately, it will be used by up to 2 million passengers a day. The project assumes full automation of the metro system and carrying out 90% of the underground lines. Thanks to this, Paris will gain the possibility of direct integration with adjacent suburban areas, which will certainly translate into the economic development of the entire region.

The scale of this operation means not only a significant investment in the expansion and communication of Paris. It is above all a step towards the realization of a modern vision of the cities of the future, where urban development goes hand in hand with the planning of communication infrastructure and the business zone.

Construction work on the Grand Paris Express project began in June 2016 and is expected to last until 2030. It is estimated that its value will reach over EUR 3.5 miliard.

The scale of the project, the scope of works and the machine park arouse admiration and testify to the incredible momentum of the entire undertaking.
